Baklouti  Green Chili Pepper “Agrumato” Olive Oil

Not as spicy as our Cayenne Olive Oil but still in the “very spicy” category, this Baklouti Green Chili Pepper Olive Oil was made by crushing fresh early harvest Chetoui olives with baklouti green chili peppers which are native to Tunisia. Seven and a half pounds of peppers were used to make each gallon of this incredibly flavorful fused olive oil. You will immediately notice the green chili pepper aroma which is quite similar in smell and taste to jalapenos.  Drizzle this oil on anything where you want added heat, from pizza and meat to salads and vegetables. We love it paired with Honey Ginger Balsamic for stir-fry and fish tacos, Pineapple or Peach Balsamic for kabobs or chicken glaze, or Pomegranate Quince Balsamic for salads and vegetable glazes.
